Q. How do I send something to you?
A. To send something through the U.S. mail, please send it to P.O. Box 204, Shelburne, VT 05482. (Please don't use our street address...the post office doesn't like that, and they will return it to you!). To send something via UPS or Fedex, please send it to 5597 Shelburne Road, Shelburne, VT 05482.
Q. How do I find you?
A. We are located on Route 7, about one quarter mile south of the light in Shelburne Village. From Interstate 89, take Exit 13 and turn south onto Route 7. You will find Arabesque 5 miles south on Route 7 on the left-hand side. We are approximately 7 miles south of downtown Burlington and 27 miles north of Middlebury.
Q. When are you open?
A. Arabesque is open during the following business hours:
Weekdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sundays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
We are closed on New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, July 4th, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We are open abbreviated hours on Memorial Day, Labor Day and Christmas Eve; please call for information.
Q. How can I pay you?
A. Arabesque accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We accept personal checks imprinted with a current address and phone number, and with a valid driver's license.
Q. What if I need to return something?
A. We'll gladly accept your clean, unused items within 30 days for a full refund of your purchase price, within the following guidelines:
For customers in our database, no receipt is necessary...we'll look up your receipt and refund the purchase price to you. If you're not in our database, we'll accept your return for a full refund with your store receipt. Without a receipt, we'll issue a store credit for the lowest sale price of the item in question.
Linens being returned must be in the original folded condition and packaging in which they left the store. Linens returned in other than the original condition will be charged a 25% restocking fee.
Sale items may be returned for store credit. Certain sale items may be marked "Final Sale." Linens purchased on sale may not be returned.
Items ordered for the customer will be accepted for return within 10 days, minus a 25% restocking fee.
Items that have been custom-prepared are final sale. This includes custom size specifications, engraved or monogrammed items, or any item that has been personalized in any way.
A. We'll happily ship your gift anywhere in the United States. Fees vary by service and destination.
Q. What about gift wrapping?
A. We'll be happy to wrap your gift for any occasion in elegant paper at no additional charge.
Q. Can I personalize a gift?
A. We would love to help you personalize your gift to create a special, one-of-a-kind keepsake. We offer engraving services for many of our glass and pewter items; embroidery for towels, sheets, pillowcases and bathrobes; and many more options for personalization including stationery products, tableware, jewelry, soaps and a huge array of personal and household accessories. Fees vary according to the scope of the project.
Q. What about in-house printing?
A. We offer a number of paper products that can be printed right in the store. Some of these can be done while you wait, and others may require a turnaround time of 24 to 48 hours (large scale projects may require longer lead times).
Q. What if you don't have the exact item I'm looking for?
A. In many cases, Arabesque is able to special order any item from vendors we represent but which we don't have in stock. Ordering times vary from two days to six weeks, but many specially-ordered items generally arrive in two weeks or less. Minimum quantities or shipping charges may apply.
